Kathmandu. Rising Star Cargo Private Limited, which has been engaged in import-export for the past 23 years, has become the first cargo company to conduct export business from Bhairahawa International Airport. This is the second international airport of Nepal which has recently been put into operation.
Rising Star Cargo has succeeded in setting an example among Nepali exporters and inspired them to use Bhairahawa Airport for exports. Currently Kuwait’s Jazeera Airlines is flying, but many other airlines are in the pipeline to fly from Bhairahawa. It will be more beneficial for the exporters located near the western region of Nepal and will be an alternative option during any technical problem (TIA).
Jeevan Pant, manager of Rising Star Cargo, said that Bhairahawa International Airport is fully equipped and there will be no hindrance for exports. He said that the government should encourage foreign airlines to come to Bhairahawa and should announce more incentives for exporters.
